In the mid 1970’s when I was a young Corporate Law Department Manager, I needed to hire a deputy. There were no Legal Placement firms in Boston at that time so I turned to a New York City firm. Not surprisingly, I found a lawyer who was working there. So, the cost of the new hire was driven up by the inevitable delays and expenses of a multi state move.

A few years later when I needed to go into the market again, I discovered that you and Bostonian Personnel had opened for business. I turned to you and you found a fine lawyer locally who fit the job description as perfectly as possible. Thereafter, whenever I needed help in hiring a lawyer I turned to you.

As you may remember, we met in the fall of 1980 when I was a young assistant dean at Suffolk Law looking to better the employment prospects for Suffolk Law alumni. From 1980 to 1994, I was an assistant dean at Suffolk Law, subsequently becoming an associate dean in 1994. It has also been the law school’s practice to assist alumni with their employment search.

Over the past 28 years of our institutional and professional relationship, I can attest through the feedback and comments of numerous alumni that you have met and exceeded your responsibility to them.
